Skills development is a strategic measure to achieve the group’s targets and ambitions, and we focus strongly on developing our employees.

Disciplines
Our production of meat comprises the following primary disciplines:

• butchering, meat cutting, sausage making and retail butchering
• industrial food production
• property management
• automation mechanic

Skills development for managers
We have three central programmes for the group’s managers:

• Basic management programme
• Programme for Younger managers
• Programme for Experienced managers

We have a strong focus on increasing the number of female managers and have a minimum of 40% of women on our programmes for young and experienced managers.

The objective of the programmes is to secure current and future expertise that will contribute to realizing the group’s targets and strategy.

Nortura Kompetanse
Nortura Kompetanse is the Nortura group’s central resource for the development of expertise. They perform operational and strategic work within vocational training, vocational and discipline training and management development.
